Facebook is the big social network announced the new Messenger Apps for Android and iOS. Facebook has combined your regular messages with the IM’s you receive on their site into the same category, so it makes complete sense to blend all your messages into a single apps.

The apps isn’t just a messenger apps either, you can have group conversations and even change the title of the conversation you could easily change the title to show where everyone is meeting after work for drinks and all the users could just see the new title.

When actually in a conversation the updates are instant and communication is extremely quick and easy, first thing Facebook needs to do is fix the notifications though as they aren’t working so great. Facebook Messenger is Facebook’s attempt to take down SMS, MMS, Chatting, BBM, and iMessage. Facebook messenger is an App for iPhone 4.2.1+ and Android 2.2+. This app will integrate seamlessly with Facebook chat and messages and in the near future, Video chat.

StickWars 2

The battle of the stick figures is back with StickWars 2. StickWars 2 picks up where the original left off giving you classic castle defense on a touch screen device. Your main action is flicking the screen to rid the battlefield of enemies. As you progress you earn money to upgrade your castle with archers, wizards, and repairmen so you can handle the larger and stronger waves of stick enemies.

When the original was released it was the only Castle Defense game in town, and competed pretty well when Defend Your Castle made their iPhone version.  The original Stick Wars was the first castle defense game to make it to iOS devices, but is based off of Defend Your Castle which came a little bit later to the App Store. The first StickWars was released in April 2009, and a lot has changed in the iTunes App Store in that time so a sequel was necessary, but how does it compare against stiffer competition.

Ragdoll Blaster 2

The most important aspect of Ragdoll Blaster 2 is the level design, and this game doesn’t let us down. The new steampunk style really fits the game well. While the game may not be ideal for online scoring, as there is a set top score available for each group of levels, the integrated achievements are nicely done.
One feature we feel is missing from Ragdoll Blaster 2 is a level editor. While there is sufficient content to keep you occupied for some time, the ability to create, upload, and download more levels always improves the long-term value of physics games.

Even if you've never played the original, this game is a Must Have. Ragdoll Blaster 2 sets a new standard for projectile physics games, and any puzzle fan should launch themselves over to the App Store to pick this one up.

In May 2009, the original Ragdoll Blaster came out - a great, sketchy, hand drawn game in which you controlled the movement of a cannon to fire ragdoll figures at a target, within increasingly complex physically-modelled worlds.

To that extent, Ragdoll Blaster was the right game at the right time. It's bigger: now with 150 levels. All iPhone games are more polished, but even taking that into account, Ragdoll Blaster 2 doesn't have that freshness.
